THE HOST

After a 20-year career as an instructional designer/entrepreneur and college teacher and three years of environmental sustainability leadership in her community, Jen Boudrie saw a clear need to connect people and resources and created the Massachusetts Green Careers Conference, and Sustainable Communities and Campuses Conferences.  They are created with the support of an advisory group and on-site conference team comprised of professionals from government, business, education and communities.

The first Massachusetts Sustainable Communities Conference was held 8am-5pm, April 15, 2011 at the Holiday Inn in Marlborough, MA.  It was a successful forum for presenters and exhibitors providing sustainable community information and resources to stakeholders from government, businesses, colleges, non-profits, communities, and the general public interested in learning about sustainability.  This conference attracted 350 people from nearly 100 communities and sold out 3 days in advance.
